This particular series focuses on the excuses we use as a reason to not do something. The titles for these blogs are taken from the book by Napoleon Hill “Think & Grow Rich”. In the chapter titled Resistance where it speaks of 57 different forms of excuses that we all use.

If I were not so fat ….

True beauty resonates from the inside out regardless of your weight.  There is no reason for the size of your figure to be holding you back, unless that is, you wanted to be a world athlete or a top model.

This is excuse simply does not make the cut, from you being who you naturally are and going after and achieving your life ambitions and purpose.

The good news is you can be the person you want to be, the person who you would like to become, that is if you really want too and that includes losing weight too.

The question is, are you willing to go out of your current comfort zone to make it happen?

If so, then make that start right now by writing down the weight you desire to be and the weight you are currently at.

Next write down all that you are eating on a daily basis and I mean all, once you have done that write down the exercises you do and that includes how many times you may be running up and down the stairs also.

It all counts, no matter how irrelevant it may seem or look on a daily basis, it all adds up. Take a look at your weekly chart that is now in front of you. See the facts, see where you focus is required to turn everything back around into your favor.

Now look at what it is you can do to help yourself; do you need to eat less junk food and more fruit? Do more exercise? Whatever it is just do it now, make the commitment to do as you say you will on a daily basis.

Take one day at a time so as not to feel overwhelmed and congratulate yourself everyday on your success for sticking to doing all that you said you would.

If you feel you cannot do this alone and require moral support, then do your research as to who can hold you accountable: A personal trainer, joining the local gym or even joining a weight loss club.

Whatever it is that resonates with you, make that start today! No more thinking about doing or planning the time has come to put your all into action.

Imagine how you would feel each day being the size you dream you can be. Visualize this every night and hold onto that feeling and picture of you and soon you will become the size you have always wanted and it will become a part of your reality.

Is that not something worth getting up for each morning and accomplishing?
